Left Handed Gretsch Streamliner

I have 15 guitars, many of which are premium. This guitar is put together as well as any of them. The fit and finish is perfect. It has become my current favourite as it just feels right. The tone is articulate and flexible, unlike traditional Gretsch sounds where are distinctive. Highly recommended as an all around guitar. I commonly play rock/funk/pop.

Gretsch G2622 Streamliner

I am primarily a keyboard player but have always enjoyed playing guitar as an added hobby. I'm no expert but have been playing rhythm guitar for a long time. This is my first purchase of a new guitar and was looking for something versatile to use on stage that was easy to play and had minimal feedback when running through our system. After looking at many options and reviews, read more I settled on the 2622 Streamliner. It lives up to every review I have read. It's light, easy to play and absolutely stunning in it's quality and finish! I originally was hoping for a mahogany finish but it was not available at the time. I settled for the Single Barrel finish and was so happy I did. The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful grain and finish, everyone who sees it is blown away. I also like the neck size as I have slightly smaller hands and it fits well for me. The pickups are fine for me - I can get some very sweet tones that are great for country, rock and blues!! I updated the control knobs to the silver Gretsch knobs and it looks much better - that's a suggestion I've seen from others. I may at some point update the machine heads but for now, they seem fine and hold tune well. Out of the box, the setup was very good - slight bridge adjustment and it's perfect. Bottom line - for the price, I believe the Streamliner series can't be beat!

Gretsch is Great

I bought this guitar because I wanted to play blues on an electric guitar. I did not have a lot of money to invest in purchasing an electric. So I did my research on the Internet and found that this model had two cutaways which I thought would look great. I also listened to the sound of about ten different guitars. I decided this guitar sounded rather mellow on one review while read more sounding like a rock guitar on another. So I got the best of both sounds for the money. With my amp I can produce a large variety of guitar sounds--everything from classic country guitar to modern rock. The guitar neck makes soloing a breeze.

Great Guitar

I puchased the 2622 in Walnut Stain in December. It is beautiful. It arrived earlier than predicted, triple boxed with thick padding. It had a big label, Do Not Open box for 24 hours, extreme atmosphere change my crack the finish. That was a toughie but I let it sit for 24 hours. It was totally in tune except the b string was a little sharp on the intone. Easy fix. I will read more definitely buy from Sweetwater again.

Perfect Right Out of the Box

Sweetwater never lets me down. This guitar is perfect right out of the box. I was chomping at the bit to plug it in when it arrived but my wife was still in bed so I had to wait. But, other than that, it's been a joy to have this new toy in this strange time in our history. I tell other musicians all the time how great Sweetwater truly is. Great service and great products. Keep read more up the good work!
