Fun, fun, fun!

I received this guitar as a present and have to say I have never held anything similar. It is one of the lightest guitars that I have come across and the design makes the neck seem short making the whole scale easily accessible. Don't tell the person that purchased it for me but I am not a big tremolo guy so probably would have gone with the V-Stoptail if I had purchased it myself. read more That being said it stays in tune well and has a versatile sound that is crisp when clean but can also get crunchy and make many stops in between.

I have ordered from Sweetwater a few times now.. And ever time they do a stand out job making your order perfect. This guitar looks beautiful and sounds amazing. You could easily look at it and think it is a thousand dollar guitar: It plays just as good as my Gibson les Paul. Very happy with it thank you Sweetwater!!

Outstanding !

In appearance alone this guitar is beautiful. The Fairlane Blue color is metallic which really contributes to its look. The Bigsby adds extra class. Playability is very good and is one of my favorite guitars. Fast shipping and great customer support from Sweetwater.

Fantastic Guitar

This is just a wonderful guitar. And I don't just mean wonderful "for the price." It's just a plain-old wonderful playing + sounding guitar. Sounds like a Gretsch, which should be enough to say. The pickups are great. With a genuine, expected difference between the neck and the bridge. It is beautifully put together. -- fit + finish appears to be perfect after 7 weeks of read more daily play. The neck is lovely. Felt a little big the first couple of weeks, but now it feels perfect. I love the "flat" 12 inch radius. The tuners hold it in tune. The paint job if flawless and gorgeous. The blue is really a nice color. I really believe anyone would get pleasure playing the 2655 Streamliner. I play it through Fender tube amps ---- Princetons, Blues Jr., SuperSonic ---- and it meshes with them perfectly. Very good for rock, blues, jazz, and country (which I don't really play, but it should be great for Country --- It's a Gretsch! ) This guitar well exceeds my expectation.

Nice Gretsch
