I had been playing guitar for about a year when I got this. If you are beginner/intermediate looking to start exploring an extended range instrument, this is not at all a bad choice. It'll be an adjustment for sure so don't expect it to be natural the first time you pick it up, but if you enjoy it and keep picking it up, its going to feel just like a 6 string! One thing I did notice… read more is that the output jack began to come loose after like 6 months of use which isn't uncommon with any guitar to begin with but is still annoying. Other than that though, its a great option for dipping your toes in to extended range guitars.

It looks much better than it does in the pictures, and the sunburst really stands out when the light is on it. Very nice looking guitar.The sound and feel are good too for this priced guitar.
