The first thing I wanted to say was, "for an inexpensive bass, this thing is great." Well, exclusive of its price, it's a pretty amazing little bass. Plays like a dream (the 32" scale doesn't hurt!) and fit and finish are excellent. Speaking of the finish, the sparkly seafoam is WAY groovy. It's a really well-built instrument, and I imagine I'll have, and use it, for years. Pickups… read more sound great, tuners are good quality, bridge is ample. Whether you're new to 5-string, need something with a shorter scale, or want to experiment with alternate tunings (I'm tuning the Mezzo E - C), it's a great value in a surprisingly solid package.

It's amazing the kind of quality Ibanez is able to supply at such an affordable price. Setup is good, may need to tweak to taste, but I am impressed. And the sea foam pearl metallic is better in person. Lightning fast shipping as always.
