Great guitar, it came out of the box ready to play, but not "weathered" by any means. It's just matte black.

I bought this bass for my wife, who is determined to learn to play. First of all, Sweetwaters staff and customer service people are some of the best I've dealt with. The bass showed up at my door right on time, and it is exactly what my wife wanted. I will definitely be buying more equipment from Sweetwater. Recommended

I love my new bass! It's lightweight and the smaler neck makes it easy for me to reach all the frets. Perfect size for us petite rockers!
