Love this pedal
This is probably one of my favorite purchases for mi rig. The pedal sounds great in studio and live.
Snap, Crackle and Pop
I had super high hopes for this pedal but the crackling and popping at the beginning of the sweep made me return it. The replacement did the same thing, unfortunately. It has some sweet tones, I just couldn't get past its noisiness. Different power, cable, amp and bass tried, nothing corrected it. Maybe a bad production run? Sweetwater service was stellar.
Very Cool and Useful Bass Pedal
When I first heard about this pedal, I was very excited. Justin Chancellor is one of my favorite bass players, and Tool is an amazing band. I had to get my hands on this pedal, not just for Tool riffs, but for Metallica's Cliff riffs and to use in my own songs. Overall this is an excellent Fuzz Wah pedal that is actually very useful, unlike other wah pedals for bass. Let's start… read more with the build quality and presentation. This pedal is built like a tank. Its very durable and the expression pedal is smooth with a spring actuator to reset to normal when your foot is off, which is very useful. I can see this pedal lasting years with heavy abuse and use and last a lifetime with care. The packaging is great and feels like a premium product is inside. As for the tone, The Fuzz is very thick, plenty of bottom end, and very usable. The Wah has 2 modes with 2 completely different sounds that compliment different playing styles. The Adjustable volume and Q for the Wah is very useful. You can use the Fuzz and Wah independently, together, or have the fuzz activated only when Wah is activated. There are so many options with this Wah Fuzz, Justin Chancellor and Dunlop really thought of everything. This Product deserves nothing less than 5 stars and has exceeded my expectations.
Stupid GOOOOD!
The spring on the pedal is so smooth...The tone is spot on if you Dig Tool and Cliff...Get it
