I have owned a lot of amps over the years trying to find the perfect mix of my sound and having enough variety for live situations with different bands. This has everything I love about the mark ii, mark iii and Mark iv in it, while having completely independent channels and the two graphic eqs to put the fine touches on them. This won't replace a rectifier, uberschall or ecstasy,… read more but if you love the mark series and want independent channel control, this is the best so far! The clean channel on this thing deserves more than 5 stars on its own, talk about headroom and clarity!! Midgain hits the mark as well and crank up the gain and its just mean. The only disappointment on this is the cab simulated out, not in the same league as the tube amp expander or anything two notes, it would do in a pinch though. The midi and stock pedal being able to override selections of eq1 and eq2 adds a lot of options live too.
