The Wah I've Been Waiting For

JH

The first pedal I ever owned was a Cry Baby and I've gone through at least 20 different varieties of wah pedals in the long search for the wah I've imagined. I am completely unacquainted with Dream Theater's music, the thing that attracted me is the ability to really sculpt the parameters far beyond any wah I've seen before. So far I am really digging the John Petrucci factory pre-set read more tone. It works beautifully with clean or dirty tones. I expect I'll be overusing this for a while, but it just sounds/feels so good that it is hard to click it off. It looks great, as expected the construction is solid and the dual LED's are something that should have been part of all wah design from day one. I can find inspiration with every wah I've played but this one just seems to go deeper and draw out more from me, I expect many other players will experience the same.

Awesome piece of gear!

This is the first wah pedal I ever owned and the best one I have ever played. I was torn between the dime cry baby from hell but I'm glad I went with this one. It's my first wah pedal and will likely be my last, I had one spot left in my pedalboard and was saving it for my first wah pedal and I couldn't be happier with it! The vocal expression is so vast and unique, my favorite read more part is the epic mid range snarl on this thing. Very well made and designed piece of gear. I have followed JP since the late 90's /early 2000's and have always loved his sound and playing style since I first discovered him. Part of that unique sound is the rack wah set up he used, this wah pedal (especially with all the twekability inside) does a wonderful job in my opinion of capturing that rack wah sound of both his early days and of his more modern sound from the past decade or so. As always Nate Burkhardt and the entire sweetwater team are exceptional at customer service, always a pleasure to do business with them. Can't say enough about how awesome they are at being on top of every detail of any and every order, wish every company did business like sweetwater!

Simply the best

Out of the box this wah has the most dynamic sound I have found. Graveling lows and sweeping highs. I have used many different wahs over the past 20 plus years to include a modded 18v 535Q, and hands down the JP95 blows it out of the water. I finally found the sound I have been searching for.
