Gourmet bass strings
Ok, 3 times as expensive as the ones I've been using forever. WTF, I'm recording a lot of "bass first " Music...why not try them once...probably not worth it. Nice surprise. They ARE worth it! Mediums feel like lights, but they don't break easy. Had to raise the action cause they were lighter, the neck straitened out. One of the best rounds I've ever used
I've tried a lot of strings, as far as rounds go these are my favorites. I generally prefer a larger gauge of 45-105 but decided to give these a try. I was really surprised how great they sounded right out of the package. Usually it takes a few weeks for strings to settle but these are playable immediately, deep and punchy and great for popping and slapping.
