Best Marshall head ever!
Short and sweet version! Best marshall amp ever developed. It does it all! Expensive as hell but worth it!!
Powerful and Versatile
This head is a beast. I have used Marshall and other amps for 40 years and this one is my favorite. You have 4 separate channels with 3 different settings each. You can set the amp for 12 different sounds that you can change with just a tap of the included footswitch. From the cleanest of clean to the nastiest distortion, this amp does it all. I use it with a Marshall 1960 412 cabinet,… read more and it is more than sufficient enough for any club or outdoor event most musicians will ever play.
Monster Head
4 channels of Bliss! Clean is a very chimney clean. Crunch is 70s Bliss. OD1 is 80s to modern Marshall. OD2 is great for lead's, thicker and smooth. Reverb for each and 2 volumes to add dynamics. Buy it!
So happy I pulled the trigger!
The versatility and sound out of this amp blew my mind! I could not be happier and recommend if you are contemplating whether to spend the money. I have other amps that do not come close to this amp that I may now sell.
Solid amp
I was fortunate enough to basically inherit this amp 10 plus years ago and it's still going strong. Played and backlined countless shows with it. Really great for punk and metal if you bias it kinda hot. It's unfortunately taken quite a few falls that should've destroyed most amps and still works great. Overall closest sounding amp to early 80s marshall tone without using a… read more pedal. Sounds great even at low volumes but doesn't get much louder after about 6, just breaks up more. Only thing I dont care for is it doesn't have a natural reverb tank and you can't save the presence and resonance settings for each channel. Unfortunately it seems to have gone up in price by almost a g so I'd recommend just getting a used one in good condition.
