Met my expectations with flying colors! You just can't go wrong with LR Baggs! Install was a breeze, even the drilling out of the strap pin hole! My Martin D28 sounds as good with the pick-up as it does unplugged, it does the job. Cudos to Sweetwater for the recommendation..

I recently installed this in my 1978 Conn F28 acoustic guitar. It was a relatively easy install. The guitar sounds great played thru my Fender Acoustic Amplifier.

Install is simple for anyone used to tools. Set up for sound was straight forward (presence setting tool was a little long for my sound hole). Plenty of volume head room. I've tried it direct into a mixer & into an acoustic controller, both give wide range of tonal possibilities. I prefer a pure acoustic sound from my vintage J-50. I'm using them as a supplemental pickup to my existing older LR Baggs pickups. This picks up my hand percussion wonderfully when looping and rounds out the sound very nicely. I installed them myself using a new stepped 1/2 inch bit. Getting the preamp tight was a little fussy. The rest of the install was straightforward. I highly recommend this product.

The product works excellent. Great tone on my Martin 000-15M. Volume adjustment works excellent as well. Make sure you thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces with alcohol and let them dry to assure proper adhesion.
