I've been using GHS Boomers on my electric instruments for decades. I like the tone and they last longer than I even need them to - I usually end up changing them before they're spent.

I tried Rotosound Bass Strings once and once was all it took before going to a suggested string which were GHS Boomers and I've used my them for 36 years now as they sound very good even after weeks if not months after were put on. Been using GHS on my guitars for 30+ years... Decided to try them out on a Bass I bought. Same great quality, same great tone, and just as well made as the boomers for guitar. Sweetwater also has the best price I could find, but even more valuable, best customer service anywhere.
