Tone For Days!
This is a fantastic amp head. Nine voices provide a wide range of tones! This amp is a "history" of Mesa tone. Sweet Tone (To The Bone)
I can't say enough about Mesa Boogie amplifiers. Been using them for years: Boogie Mark IIC+, Studio Preamp, 295 Simul Class Power Amp, Studio 22, Boogie Mark V 90 and more recently the TC50 w/ 2x12 Cabinet. The Mark V drips with tone and versatility. Here's a solo I recorded using the Mark V90 through 2x12 Closed Back cabinet loaded with V30s and my Gibson Les Paul. Amazing amplifier
Lucky enough to have purchased this in October from Sweetwater. I still smile every time I plug in. This is simply an amazing amp. I don't find it hard to dial in at all (as some report). Everything sounds good. It's just a matter of tonal preference that will steer your tweaking. This amp gives you a lot of everything: great tones, extreme tonal flexibility....did I mention… read more great tones? I'm not one to spend a lot on gear.....NO regrets with this purchase at all. This will keep me happy for years to come. Highly recommended!
Mesa mark v 90
This is a beast. Covers clean - cream to extreme. Takes a while to dial in your sound but after that you become unstoppable. No other amp has the monster tone and versatility that the mark 5 covers. I have owned just about every amp out there including a Klemper. This is the ticket. I will admit it's a beast to haul around at 55 lbs. plus a 412 cabinet. Buy it and love it.
