This is really one of the top amps you can own that covers a lot of tones. I have owned a lot of amps, over 20 years of playing, this does it. The only downside is channel one having no channel switch. Go order your amp through Alden, he is the man

This amp is simply amazing, it can take a bit to dial in your tone because all the controls work in conjunction with one another but you'll have a blast dialing in any tone you fancy and it becomes easier the more you fiddle with it from super cleans to slightly broke up to that old school super tight Metallica sound and everything in between I could go on and on all day why this… read more amp should be in everyone's Arsenal and don't let the 25 watts fool you this thing is loud ,I play it though my mesa 2x12 oversized rectifier cab and the sound is godly , thanx again Joe and Sweetwater for another outstanding purchase and amazing customer service as always , now just go buy one yourself you'll never regret it and at this price point this amp is a complete steal

The cab clone on this going out to PA system is truly amazing I had a REVV D20, and this beat this by a very wide margin. I purchased a Rivera Venus recording cap for this head and it is truly amazeballs! I've had every single amp I could possibly think of over this last 35 years of playing guitar and professional settings sharing the stage with big names in the business. This one does it. You want some crazy good rock tones? This amp nails it. You want heavy metal I don't personally but this does that too in spades with a click of the provided channel footswitch. Ok .. I just recently made my first tube amp purchase and i am very stoked. This amp is sooo good I passed by the other amps because deep down I always wanted a Mesa boogie amp . You so much versatility in this amp for tone I bought mine with an Ibanez tube screamer so I could boost the crunch channel and get a boosted metal tone and it does it very well. I got some Slayer type… read more of tones out of that channel with the boost and of course the other channel contains metallica and various other popular metal tones. This amp handles my seven string very very well .Buy it you won't regret it !
