Too good?
You never realize how good something can be until you get one for yourself. I have had this amp just over a week, and I can't believe how good it is! I own numerous tube heads, but I wouldn't have went further if I had purchased this Mark Five 35 head first. The ONLY thing I don't care for is the reverb, but that is minor really (to me). I use a pedal via the effects loop… read more for my reverb anyways. Very awesome amp.
Better Than Expected
In March I ordered my custom Mesa Mark V 35 Head and 4×12 Cabinet. I was in no rush to receive this guitar rig, just wanted it to be what I had hoped for when I placed the order. When this amplifier was delivered to me four months later, I was worried that it would be damaged, or torn, ect. I have never ordered anything like this online before. I was so glad to open the boxes,… read more undamaged, and very well packaged. Years ago I owned a triple rectifier, and it was the best amp I had ever owned. This Mark V 35 blows my old rectifier away with it's clarity and versatility. The distortion this amp has is undeniably strong. Don't hesitate to buy this amp. It truly is EVERYTHING they say it is. 100% Satisfied.

Mesa Boogie Mark V 35 Watt Head. Awesomeness
Buy it. You will not regret it. This small box is a powerhouse; 2 channels BUT with 3 modes per channel actually giving you 6 separate tones. Crystal clear cleans to classic rock to high gain metal. This amp covers all the above and everything in between. Also has two separate Solo boosts accessible via foot switch. It uses the Mark II, Mark IV, and Mark V circuits and absolutely… read more sounds sublime. I try to find things I don’t like or would tweet and can’t think of a thing. Modern masterpiece!!! I LOVE this amp...
My Second Mark V:35
I have been using a Fractal AX8 for a couple years and when frustrated with it, using my Friedman Smallbox 50. Honestly, between getting the right FRFR speaker, developing patches that seem to only like a single coil or, a Humbucker, out of frustration I just sold the whole thing. I remember playing the Mark V:25 and how versatile it was and quickly decided to go with the Mark… read more V:35 because of the extra wattage and the Solo boost (which I have yet to need or use). Anyway, I loved the way my little Mark V:35 combo sounded and happened to plug it into my Friedman 2x12 with a heritage creamback and Greenback in it and I was so pleased with the big sounds coming from the combo, so I ordered a 1x12 Thiele cab in matching bronco red to enhance the punch and thump. Got it with a Creamback instead of the C90. It blows my mind the amount of tones and punch that comes out of this mighty compact rig. So pleased, I ordered the Mark V:35 head and two Thiele cabs in bronco baby blue. The head into those two cabs sounds amazing and I can put some space in between them to widen my sound or use or use a cab as a monitor. So my little red V:35 rig is for playing out and my baby blue V:35 is for enjoyment at home and comparing tones. I did benefit greatly from reading the manual several times5though. The quality is as good as any high end amp and the versatility is mind boggling. This is a perfect amp for the casual player who likes an assortment of available tones and gain options, and especially a working musician. All in the footprint of a small suitcase. The modular design makes it very easy to transport my rig. I have never been this pleased with my rig. Of course I need to say thank you to my long time sales engineer Jacob Stutzman for his patience over the years and helping me built my rig and guitar stable.
