Martin D-35 Dreadnought- Ambertone Review

SWEETWATER AND MARTIN GUITARS......AWESOME COMBINATION !

I am not one to write many reviews although I read many of them. Sweetwater and Martin Guitars are a combination that absolutely can not be improved upon. First of all, the Martin D35 in Ambertone finish is absolutely gorgeous and the looks of this instrument is only exceeded by the tone. What a cannon ! I have been to the Martin guitar factory twice and did the "Behind the Scenes"… read more tour to personally see up close the dedication and skill of the workmanship that goes into each and every guitar crafted there in Nazareth. The Martin factory never knows who is going to receive which guitar and their consistent quality speaks to a level of craftmanship not seen at that level in many other guitars. Sweetwater is an awesome way to purchase these fine instruments. My personal sales advisor Gage Massey has now assisted me in the purchase of a Martin D35, Martin HD28E Retro, Martin D42, Martin DRS1, Martin GPC12PA4 12 string, Martin GPC-13E and a Martin SC-13E. Gage and I have developed such a great relationship that he has , on occasion, talked me out of purchasing a guitar that he knew was not right for me. Gage personally inspects and plays any guitar I am interested in purchasing and I totally trust his opinion based on his experience and knowledge of a vast product line. This is my second big purchase from sweetwater, I"m not sure if I"m more impressed with the guitar or the customer service from AlexRodriguez, he definitely knows his gear and will cheat you right!!I bought the D35 as a demo( if you are interested in a demo go for it) every little mark that is on a demo is pictured!! I saved almost $300 because of 2 very small dings on the back!!… read more I also had this guitar set up before it left( also recommended) this thing has the best action and playability that I"ve experienced in an acoustic guitar!! And the SOUND is will let"s just say it"s 100% a Martin, so happy with this purchase. I would say ROCK ON...... But......... BLUEGRASS ON!!!
