Really a phenomenal instrument. Tone is very full and balanced. Bass response great for OM size. Stands up well to moderate strumming and note definition is succinct with fingerstyle play. I had previously tried a middle-road 000-14 which was really good. However, tone quality from this guitar is at a completely different level. I've been playing guitar for 40 years now. In all this time, I've NEVER played an acoustic guitar that calls my name more than this Martin OM-21. It's everything I've ever wanted in an acoustic. I have to say, without Mike Harris' help, I wouldn't have known about this guitar. Mike Harris is extremely knowledgeable and without his guidance and help finding this awesome instrument, I wouldn't be writing this. Kudos to Mike and Sweetwater for the best gear and the best service in the industry.
