Amazing Sound

I was traveling and decided to stop at the Sweetwater store …. Just to look !!! I was originally interested in a Taylor but my sales rep, Greg Baum, recommended I try this Martin OM 21 and I am so happy he did. What an amazing sound ,very comfortable to play ,sustain is better than I've ever heard. Even the bar chords are much easier for me to play now. Yes It was twice the price of that Taylor I had come in to try …… but I can honestly say I have had ZERO buyers remorse. I cant put the guitar down, I practice way more now that I own this beautiful guitar. A big thank you to my sales engineer Greg Baum, he was very helpful, even had the action lowered for me while I was still debating the purchase. That sealed the deal . This is my forever guitar, I'm absolutely in love with it

Everything you need

This guitar is the swiss army knife of guitars. If you are a worship leader, this is the guitar for you. Picking, strumming (aggressive and soft), it responds perfectly. Put an LR Baggs Anthem in this and it absolutely sings. The wood pairings are classic and the bracing is tested and flawless. You can spend extra money on the OM-28, but you are only getting fancy cosmetic upgrades.… read more It is the same guitar. In my opinion, I like the classic dot inlay look anyway. Couldn't recommend this more.

I wanted to get as close to dreadnaught sound as I could in a smaller size. I had the opportunity to visit the Martin factory/museum/store a few weeks back. They have a "pickin' room" where you can play all of the models currently in production. I didn't play many others before I picked up the OM-21.. Once I gave it the first strum.. First time on line purchase. Had my doubts. I have never purchased a guitar without playing and listening first. Painless process. Guitar arrived on time.
