Mondo Sound Enhancement
An effect box that I almost can't be without. If you are recording or performing it's like your own portable wall of sound. I use it with my guitars, keyboards, bass and it worked great with dual amplifiers. Sounds clean when properly set in accordance with your audio situation. I have no reason to give this product no less than 5 stars. Call me, very satisfied!!
Way Too Fun!!
Honestly had this on the back burner till I tried it in stereo- that's when my eyes opened up. Along with when Andy from Sweetwater gave some advise to try it as a chorus when going through a single amp= Mind Blown. Soo impressed by this pedal and still have to try it's triple overdub ability.
Awesome little pedal!
Fun little pedal to thicken up your sound! I've always had great results with the TC stuff and this one is no exception. The rifle switch let's you choose how 'full'you want to go and add in some reverb/ delay to REALLY have fun! Highly recommend :)
Fab for thickening studio recordings or Live
I mainly use this pedal for recording my electric and acoustic guitars to develop a wall of sound. Live you really need to have 2 amps on stage to really take full advantage of what this pedal can do.
TCElectronics Mimiq
This pedal is interesting. I have not used other doubler pedals or tried to get such such an effect otherwise, and so this pedal is my first. I've only performed with it on one concert, in stereo (two amps) and it worked beautifully. With some delay, and a bit of chorus, I felt it was even more effective for the purpose I had assigned it. The effect it generates is more of a thickening… read more of the sound. The delay of doubled 1-2-3 parts is very close, and so it does what one strives for when overdubbing.I would like to try it with other effects to achieve a couple of old-recorded sounds. For players who look for heavily-distorted chords, with double-tracked effect, this pedal seems to do the job. I use it only in solos to add depth with its very simple controls. The effect is not extreme, even using the 3-level setting. I could imagine a more sophisticated design, a larger unit of this device with more control over the simulated stacks of signals, something more like a rack-mounted unit in a pedal. But the simplicity of this pedal is a delight. I recommend to use it in stereo considering the nature of the effect and the history of this sound on recordings, The stereo aspect is crucial to achieve the widening, spatial dimension. Looking forward to applying it more.
