I don't think I could give this thing a glowing enough of a review. If you're looking at it for ANY reason - it has something to give you and much more.

Sweetwater made it right!

After considerable trial and error, and a telephone discussion with a gentleman from tech support, it was decided that the first pedal was indeed defective, but a replacement wouldn't be available for a couple of weeks. As soon as a replacement was available, it was sent out with a return shipping label to be used in sending back the faulty unit. The new pedal has performed flawlessly.

A learning curve

Since I wrote my previous review, I believe that I have found a solution to the issues I was having. As an educated guess, I think the erratic behavior was the result of an internal memory glitch, caused by leaving the pedal engaged over a period of time. After three days of testing, I have had no recurrence of any of the troubles I was having, and the phase circuitry also seems read more to have readjusted to useful values. I really like this pedal. With the tremelo engaged to my liking and the tremelo dynamics switch in the up position, and ending chord gradually slows the tremelo rate as it fades, almost like a Leslie, but much mellower. It is definitely a very useful creative tool.

A bit of a let down

The demo video piqued my curiosity, and I have gotten some useful sounds on occasion, but the pedal occasionally ceases working. At other times, the controls fail to respond in the expected manner. The phaser tone is harsh in comparison to the tremolo tone, with the bottom end seemingly missing. I do like the tremelo effect with the right hand switch in the down position, which read more slows the effect gradually on an ending chord. The unit, when glitched, seems to reset if the power is removed and then reinserted after a cooling off period. I'll update this review if I discover anything that might be causing it to malfunction.

Fell Short for me

I was expecting too much out of this thing. The phaser is nice. The dynamic controls are great for unique movement over big washes as the signal fades. But all in all it has less useable sounds in it than I expected. The Trem is noisy and without an independent depth control it's hard to find a happy place for bother effects simultaneously. I still give it three stars bc it's the read more size of a lighter and sounds pretty good.
