This pedal is amazing

I try keeping a relatively minimalist pedalboard, so I only use one modulation at a time and having a pedal that can produce lots of different sounds is really helpful. Before I owned a TC Electronic Dreamscape, which was more chorus/flange/vibe based, but the voice knob on the Strymon allows for getting those kinds of sounds on a phaser which is really nice. This pedal is very read more transparent. No major jumps in volume when turning it on unlike the Dreamscape. Turning the mix knob all the way down will still give some noticeable phase sounds, but turning it all the way up will give 100% wet signal to allow for subtle phaser effect in the 90-100% range which is also something I really wanted out of a phaser. This is the first Strymon product I have ever owned and after trying one I think they are worth the price. I would also like to thank Drake and everyone at Sweetwater. I got this as a Christmas gift on short notice and received it on time and didn't even have to pay any rush fees. Thank you for always going the extra mile Sweetwater!

Excellent Sounding

Pedal sounds great. If your looking for this kind of pedal I would recommend it. It goes from subtle to over the top and everything in between. Strymon makes great sounding pedals. If your guitar rig is stereo the sound of this pedal is even greater. Expensive YES. But worth it if your going to use it. Great live or for recording. Very flexible pedal in the sense that it is two read more pedals in one, you can use an expression pedal to control sound parameters, pedal can be used mono or stereo as well as some other features. If interested check out the strymon offical videos on this pedal, everything they say is true.

Voodoo engineering and design....

If you get into this unit and the range of things it is capable it is ridiculously superior to any sort of Phase Modulation I have had or used. The notion of the wide slow stereo chorus plus the left side adjustments jut make this unit more than a cut above. I would never have believed a DSP type digital pedal could do all this, such depth and robust phaser voicing. You can run read more the two units in a wide stereo spread parallel path or feed the 6 stager into the 4 also split side to side separate. I knew it would be good but this is just beyond my expectations. A quality split into true stereo feeds without any hassle, I run mine after all my drives and it sounds amazing after my synergy preamp module feeds. I worried about that as I think chorus sounds better after but a phaser can do before as well. My Synergy stuff is capable of creating massive distortion voicings putting this in front would rob the unit's articulation and complex tones, after works very well. Would have never believed this pedal is as good as it turned out. Strymon is just top shelf, might be others on par in quality but for ease of use and dialing up tones Strymon is so easy to use. Anyway, there is no better versatile optioned phaser to be found. It truly is multidimensional and just creates a sonic field of lush modulation from all manner of phasing, to flange, to chorus. I love this pedal!!!!!

Pefect chorus/phaser pedal with infinite sound design possibilities

Initially I was unsure about this new pedal but since I knew Strymon never disappoints - I got it.I was interested in the chorus-like spectrum of sounds to start with, so I turned it on, dialed it in w/o even listening... Played some notes on a clean guitar, aaaand it was Heaven. I still need to learn and absorb the other 99% of this pedal features, but I would pay for it even if read more only had that chorus, lol.My congrats to the Strymon team about this new perfection.

Funk me up, Scotty!

This is the ultimate Swiss Army knife of dripping funkness. After a few hours funking around the house with this purple pusher the bright lights of the George Plimpton Blimp appear in the night sky and transport me to Funkland. Seriously though, this is one serious tool for swirling sound no matter the genre. And kick both sides of the pedal on at once and it's uncharted territory. read more Sounds I have never heard before. And with all of it the smooth refinement that is Strymon. You might lose sleep over this one, I am.
