Get one
Got this as an emergency amp for the gear bag but I am blown away with how good this sounds. Loud, crystal clear cleans and incredibly compact…this may be my new go to for playing at home! Great value
Great to run your pedals through
Super clean tones, great for running your pedalboard through high head room no break up at all and the tube sound is phenomenal! I got the bundle deal with the cab 1x8 for $149.00 and man it sounds awesome!
I honestly love this amp
This is a great head - perfect for just jamming. Not really much to complain about. I put pedals out front for my delay and drive and I feel like it does just as good of a job as my Fender tube amp with clean tones. It's a gem and takes up no room. You really can't go wrong.
The Clean One
I've had this amp for over a year now. I cycle through my collection of amps about 4 times a year. Every time I get to this one and am done playing a few different sorts of guitars through it, I think…WTF?!! Ridiculous, really…the quality of the sound, the warmth and controllability of its breakup, the headroom…the volume. This time I had it driving a 12" Celestion Alnico… read more Creamback in an old Fender cab. I have no qualms about backing up my 60's Bassman with this. It's actually a little ….friendlier? Not the same, but the sound of the band won't hardly change. The AC50 version is just as good.
Great Lil' Bedroom Amp
I got this amp with the intention to use in my bedroom. I enjoy a bit of practice to end my day before I doze off. I have the MV50 Clean and the BC108 speaker set up on a shelving unit right next to my bed. The clean is the best and I use a mini reverb and delay pedal in front of the amp. I run the volume just past 1/2 throttle and it is plenty loud. Sometimes I use the headphone… read more output and unplug the speaker for silent practice. I wish the power switch was on the front, it is a very small slider switch on the back and kind of a hassle to operate. Overall I think this is a great little amp. It does exactly what I want it to do. The size is perfect, cute and compact. Rick
