Polished Brass Slide - Small Review

after trying 6 different slides brass glass ceramic having a hard time getting a right fit for my pinky finger making foam sleeves broke down and bought the Rock slide brass small size 7 to 9 ring works great best one yet

This is a better slide

The design and manufacturing of this slide is advanced, way beyond the dozen or so slides I have kicking around in a forgotten drawer somewhere, including my previous favorite, the 1/2 inch brass pipe cut off with a hacksaw. Seriously, I have porcelain slides and glass slides, all types, but this one is way better. The small size is ring size 7, and the tapered interior is perfect… read more for my little finger. The taper also gives it a little more weight right in the sweet spot. The groove cut in the side allows your ring finger to fit in snuggly behind the slide and help control and dampen the strings. The knuckle cutaway is another advanced design. And, the finish is nice, real nice.

My slide playing just got better!

If you prefer to play with the slide on your pinky, and you want to fret notes with your other three fingers, this is the slide for you. It's very lightweight and comfortable, and the cutaway allows your pinky to bend and the slide to be held out of the way. Awesome slide

I previously had a problem with slides not fitting well, this solved all those problems. I use this one on my pinky and I never have to worry about it falling off, since it tapers as you get to your finger tip. It feels like an extension of your hand and is so easy to play. Really solid design.
