LOUD

I use a modeler and needed a power amp for my 2x12 cabinet so I could have some stage volume. I've used a bunch in the past and they never really sounded great. Most of them were too flat, or didn't push the speakers in a way tubes amps did. Whatever Seymour Duncan is doing, it was AWESOME. This power amp went way above my expectations. I own the 700w version as well, and this 170w read more version is stupid loud, just like the 700w. I'm moving to a pedalboard set up from a rack and this thing does exactly what it's suppose to. If you think you need the bigger version for volume, you probably don't. I would only suggest the 700w if you are running multiple 4x12's and need the power, or your just using a rack setup and want everything in one spot. The EQ works great for whatever room your in as well.

Phenomal Solution for a Fly/Full-Time Rig Power!!!

I'm a full-time working musician so I need reliability, portability and consistency. The PowerStage nails all of those things and more. No more schleping my giant tube head to rehearsals and gigs. I use it with a Helix or a Stomp XL depending on fly or no-fly and now I use it in town as well. It sounds great, is built like a tank and has plenty of overhead as a tone canvas.

This is an incredible LiL Amp and I'm blow away that it fits on my pedal board, even more blown away with the POWER It delivers.

Definitely worth the purchase, your back will thank you!

I'm getting up there in they years and lugging around a heavy amp just isn't much fun anymore. This was my last purchase to create a simple and very mobile gear rig. I run a Line 6 Helix LT into this amp and feed it to a Harley Benton 2x12 cabinet. This amp will more than keep up with any thunderous drummer. It works great in a band setting. It is quiet and stays cool and travels read more nicely in my guitar gig bag pocket. If you're looking for a great amp head that takes pedals really well and won't break your back, you can't go wrong with this!

This little guy is a MONSTER... I use it to push my fractal through a Mesa Rectifier 2 x 12 and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Save yourself hours of research and pull the trigger on this one. 5 stars all day, love it!
