Thought I would enhance the sound of my 1975 Gibson Gospel. Combined with lighter strings and a setup, these pins did the job and then some. Can't wait to try these out on my 12-string.
A new use for bad tuning

I have a Guild M-240e I love, but the tuning was "jerky" not smooth as it should be. I was going to replace the tuners and bridge pins, but after I installed the new pins the tuning was PERFECTLY SMOOTH. It never occurred to me the bad tuning was a result of cheap bridge pins. but it was. so I will stay with the stock tuners and all set. Sweetwater is more than a retailer. Replaced the black plastic pins on my Alvarez AD60 with these. Immediate improvement. Sound went from a dull thud to a big low end and sweet high end. My Alvarez will be my go to from now own. It sounds great.

Installed this traditional bridge pin set soon after they arrived. It was an "Oh Wow" moment after the first strum. The highs were crystal clear while the lows were rich. A very good upgrade. My Guild jumbo 12-string needed new pins. Bought two sets. Sweetwater sales engineer Ryan Sloan helped me decide what pins to get. I don't mind spending more money to get a good tone out of my guitar. I am glad I did not get taylor pins. Tone of maple back and sides sounds awesome. I mean it.
