Would have been 5 stars, but...

...one of the pins was not slotted. I spent about 45 minutes carefully taping the offending pin off to keep from damaging the head and carefully filed a slot using a jewelers file to the point that it works on the high E if you hold your tongue right, but one shouldn't have to do that. Sure, I could have returned them, Sweetwater rocks, my go-to guy Ben Elder would certainly have read more made it right, but...well...I had painter's tape, I had a jewelers file, soooo... One other issue - charging for an end pin that I'd be very surprised that more than a handful of people ever use. Keep the end pin, knock off 5 bucks (keeping it in line price wise with the Taylor Abalone pins), make sure you have them all slotted and what the hey, I'll give them six stars! But enough of the negative...when the smoke clears they look great, fit fine on my Martin GPC13e, and definately improve tone and sustain over the stock plastic pins that come with the instrument.

Have a taylor with plastic bridge pins. Bought it for its aesthetic but after installing them, I think they may have improved the acoustic tone of my guitar, idk I did also set up my guitar at the same time so... At the very least they look great and fit snug.

I have a new guitar

My guitar sounds completely different after I changed the bridge pins to these almost as if I got a new guitar. My old ones were stock and pretty terrible from normal wear.these fit snug and amazing.

Purchased this set of pins to replace the plastic ones that came in the Yamaha AC3R i have. They fit like they were meant for my guitar.matches the bridge and fingerboard ebony and pearl inlay.cant say if it made the AC3R sound and better or different but it still sounds great so im happy.

Completes the Look of my Taylor

One thing I have always hated about the lower end Taylor models is that, while they are quality instruments, they come with very cheap, bad looking plastic bridge pins. These Ebony pins by Planet Waves match my Taylor's bridge 100% and the Pearl Inlays I opted for add character to the otherwise plain bridge of the guitar. Very cheap upgrade that I would 110% do again with Sweetwater, read more as their service is second to none!
