What a difference!!!

I got these here at Sweetwater, courtesy of Jeremiah Smith and they look beautiful on my Epiphone Texan FT145SB Japan Acoustic 70s Blue Label. It gives the guitar a very nice,warm sound.

Wow: What a Difference!

I put these in a Taylor 214ce that already has a Nubone nut and a Macarta saddle. I replaced the factory plastic pins and I was amazed at how much of a difference these pins made. The guitar sounds more resonant and I can feel the vibration of the guitar more now. For the money, this may be the best and easiest upgrade you could do to your guitar.

Amazing difference in tone

So my 20year old Gibson J100xt has had the same plastic pins since it was made. After a few days the strings would just lose a little sparkle. I know this is natural and happens when strings set in. The guitar sounds great. I wanted to change the pins and was thinking bone or maybe FMI. But that stuff is expensive. Makes a difference

Got these in yesterday and immediatley installed them on my 9 year old Takamine to replace the plastic ones. The taper was good but the diameter was a little too large and wouldn't go all the way down. No problem though. I just sanded and filed them down to the right diameter till they fit perfectly. Perfect

I use a DR-500mce and the nut and saddle on them are bone but the bridge pins are plastic. After changing strings enough they were all chewed up so I needed something with better sustain and easier to pull out for changing strings. These have been phenomenal! I know from working at previous shops never to force the pins into the bridge but have them fit snugly and these do but they… read more stick out a little which is perfect because it makes it much easier for pulling them out for string change and the little ring platform they have under the head. The sustain from them are incredible, my DR-500mce sounds a lot more like a D-18 now (be sure to humidify all your guitars). The paua dot matches the abalone "Epiphone" logo on the head of my guitar and the soundhole very well. I was so happy with the purchase I bought some of the picks that Tusq makes from Sweetwater and have been equally impressed! Very happy with the purchase.
