These tuners are fantastic and high quality. I don’t need a tuner to quickly switch between drop D and standard tuning, just one full turn of the E string tuner is all it takes. Drop in fit to my Yamaha A3R

I ordered them and gave them to the luthier who is restoring my 1971 Martin 000-28 so I don't know how easy, or hard, it was to install them. The mounting brackets covered the old screw holes. They turn smooth and tight. Each turn of the knob = a half tone. I am planning to order another set to put on my 1993 HD-28 when he does the fret job.

Bought these to try out before I looked at some for my stratocaster. On the outside they're is no difference. The money is in the tuning. Put those on a lap steel I was having problems with staying in tune on one string. Once installed my lap is staying in tune or so close it's less than a 1/16 of a turn to get it back in. Because of this set I will be replacing the one on… read more my stratocaster. Also no drilling or mods to the guitar. Buy these you won't be disappointed.

Simply awesome. Just take the time to read the specs on theses awesome tuners. Just be aware if you buy other than chrome the backing plates will be chrome. However, your Sweetwater Rep can help you with getting matching backing plates from GraphTech.
