Bossin' It!

Let's be clear here... this is not a plug-in-'n'-play pedal... it requires some patient and dexterous work to dial in what you are looking for. But oh my, when you do and find the sweet-spot it is worth the time and patience. For me I bought the PS-6 initially to get some Thin Lizzy dual-lead and 'Ramble-On' interlude... and when I finally got what I was looking for this pedal delivered. There's read more a lot of knobs and options so tweaking the variables will take some time - well it did for me because I like to take my time to dial-in my tone and subtle use of effects. My Jeff Beck Artist Strat' and Gretsch G5220 first go through a tuner/buffer and then compressor before touching the PS-6... I also use another Pure Tone buffer at the end of the signal chain and it has made the world of difference before it all hits my MKI Egnater Rebel 30.I highly recommend the PS-6; I've been a bit sceptical of Boss products in the past, probably because I am an analog geek and tube nerd, but really with no real-world justification to be so... this pedal is the business! Thanks to Ashton Boyd and all the Sweetwater crew who answer all enquiries and get the gear out to me.Always a pleasure doing business with Sweetwater.

This pedal does some very cool & diverse things, whether octaves in either direction... Major/ minor harmonies stacking, Tom Morello crazy bends... So much so that I have 4 of them so i don't have to fiddle with changes during songs or choose between a lot of usable settings.

Totally blown away by the Boss PS6 Harmonist

Playing 3 part harmonies was the main reason I bought this pedal. The pitch shifting/bending, octaving and detune(chorus) are even more reasons to get it. The detune is so good, I took my MXR analog chorus off my board.

Versatile!

this little guy does a LOT! 3 part harmonies, super bends (like a 2 way wammy bar on steroids), adjustable chorus (they call it de-tune), pitch shift. And it works with an express pedal but you don't have to have one. And every effect is adjustable. I can't think of too many pedals that have this many sound options. I shopped around but as usual, Sweetwater has the low price and read more best service. (Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys uses this on Lonely Boy)
