They work.

I use them on my Telecaster and they work fine and I really like that they can also secure my guitar cable. Sweetwater has always treated me right and shipping is on schedule.

Saves my Martin 13SCe

After two six hour recording sessions and almost dropping my Martin SC13e four times I decided to put on some strap locks. I began taking off the upper bout strap pin and a plastic backing piece fell into the guitar. I had to remove the strings and force my hand through the sound hole to get the strap pin reattached to the lose plastic piece. Really hard to do. I had hoped for read more a solid piece of wood on the inside of the Martin. I immediately went through all the options on the Sweetwater site and located these D'Addario strap locks. Easy to put on and the hold the strap tightly on the existing pin. Great product for a small price.

For those guitars that Dunlop and Schaller's can't fit on.

I have been playing bass since 1995, and using strap locks since '96. I just received a Guild Starfire Bass and quickly discovered that neither the Dunlop nor Schallers can work with the top strap button location (heel of the neck). I am using a VERY thick leather strap, (LM Products X-CLEF Ropemaker Edition Bass) and these popped right on in a second and were very easy to get read more to release, but only when you mean for them. No these are not "just as good as" a hard installed straplock, but for acoustics and other instruments that you can't or won't install the dunlop or schallers, these are a 10/10. I will be buying these and giving them to my fellow musicians.

Work great!

These things are great. They do exactly what they claim. I didn't have to modify anything on my guitar to install them. I can take them off easily enough, when I want to change straps, or whatever. I plan to get a set for each of my acoustics. I'm very pleased with them!
