After chasing amplified acoustic tone for many years and trying dozens of pickups for acoustic guitars this Mojo Tone has delivered the amplified tound I have longed for. Been gigging and searching for 40+ years for this tone. Read the claims and reviews for the Mojotone NC-1 and decided to take the plunge. This pickup is what it claims to be…natural, mic like tone in a magnetic soundhole pickup. So glad I ripped out the restaurant pickup system in my J45 and installed this. Plugged straight into a Mesa Boogie Rosette 300 amplifier and out to… read more FOH, with some quick and minor EQ adjustments got the sound I've always dreamed of in about 1 minute. Also, the sound and EQ curve remains true and mic like weather playing quiet, medium or loud volumes. Cuts thru a mix with authority…cranked up this thing is absolutely thunderous. This is the perfect pickup for me and the sound is really nice and balanced. I own several high end acoustics that I would never consider drilling holes to install a pickup in and the Mojotone pickup does the trick. I can't even tell it's there since it's so light and small!

They said the MojoTone Quiet Coil NC-1 Acoustic Soundhole Pickup sounds natural. I was very surprised to find that it really sounds great. I do not detect that typical soundhole pickup "electric guitar" sound. Very feedback resistant as well. It looks good for what it is also.
