love the feel, great strings for my acoustic bass, closest i've heard to a fretless, very smooth you can play very subtle notes to full on attack with volume if needed, very nice sound

I have been using another brand of nylon tape wound strings on my bass. My son encouraged me to try these. All I can say is wow. I had to modify the nut for the heavier gauge but these feel silky smooth and have the smooth deep soundI was after.

I bought a Guild Westerner Acoustic Bass to play a standup tone witout having to haul around a double bass. It comes with roundwounds, which sounded great-if you want an acoustic with brighter tone instead of the warm, mellow sound I was after.
