The package I received had no issues and fit just fine on my Ibanez Mikro and sound great. Didn't have to wide the nut and the action was fine. Silky smooth and no fraying issues.

I purchased the Short Scale "88 tru bass" strings to put on my Hofner Ignition Series bass guitar. They fit my Hofner perfectly. (Perhaps I could widen the slots in the nut a tiny bit, but it isn't necessary.) The strings sound fantastic and the nylon makes them very easy to play. The strings arrived in perfect condition with no flaws in the winding or elsewhere.

put on new nylon tape wound 88's great sound no sting noise when moving between notes easy on fingers never used anything else than nylon tape wound in nearly 50 years of playing
