Fantastic strings!
These may be my new go-to round wounds. They sound and feel great on my Stingray Classic, bringing just a tad more warmth than stainless steel strings. I know the "weak G" on Stingrays is apocryphal, but this set sure has the liveliest G I've heard on my bass. Also, the lower tension is pleasantly noticeable when playing nearer to the bridge.
I like these strings.. and I didn't think I would
I love the sound of La Bella flats, so I thought that I would take a gamble on these. As advertised, they definitely have a lower tension than other strings I have used with the same gauge. They also seem a bit smoother than traditional roundwound strings (a little less string noise). I'm looking forward to seeing how these settle in after a while.
Great sound and feel
These sound great on my P Bass, very balanced tone. The feel is great, smooth and slinky. I've had them on for almost 3 months and play every day but clean them regularly with fast fret. They leveled out tone-wise after a few weeks and have stayed consistent since then.
