This accoustic guitar pickup filled the need I had for my in home use. Very pleased with the sound. Only wish it had a longer cord so I could sit outside and leave my Amp inside.

After doing a lot of research and listening to videos on YouTube I had come to the conclusion that this particular pickup was the one for me. I use it on a 40-year old acoustic that I didn't want to modify for a pickup. The pickup is sturdy and mounts instantly producing a warm and convincing sound. I do use some processing to get it just right. I also use noise suppression… read more because it is a single-coil pickup. I was going to go with the humbucker variation but all the reviews that I studied consistently rated the single-coil version above the humbucker one. Just attach the pickup right in the center of the sound hole and your set for great sound for the price without having to modify your favorite vintage acoustic. I would certainly buy this again.

I have only gotten about 30 minutes of play time so far, but this is a great magnetic sound hole pickup. Easy to install, pretty transparent sound. This is ideal for the unplugged player who needs to plug in every now and then, also great if you want to play acoustic blues.

the sound from this unit is extremely great. It's full sound from the bar is off the meter. I made the mistake of ordering for a round hole and I have an oblong hole, my bad. The bar still works great
