Schecter SLS Evil Twin-5 Left-Handed Bass Guitar
I bought this bass after watching tons of reviews. All the reviews on Schecter SLS bass guitars said they have the most versatile sound package on a bass. One guy said if there is a sound you are trying to get that you can't find on this bass then he doesn't know what to tell you. I went with 5-string to have that extra string for a wider range. They also have a 4-string if you… read more prefer that. I'm new on the bass and still learning and exploring. So far it sounds a feels good. It also looks great. Check out this review on another Schecter SLS Bass. The bass in the video has a different look but has all the same functions. It was the best review I saw and is what sold me on this bass.
Amazing bass
So, I bought one of these basses about 2 months ago, and I must say.... I love it! Esthetically speaking, it's a work of art. Craftsmanship is stellar, though not flawless. I have had issues with the pickups coming loose, and backing out to a point the they touch the strings when played at higher frets. A quick tighten with a screwdriver, and we're good to go again, but it… read more is a bit annoying. May have something to do with my playing style too, as I play alot of slap/pop style bass. Tonally, this bass is VERY adjustable. A quick flick of a switch, and it goes from earthy blues tones to bright, but beefy funk goodness. Any sound you may be looking for is available with this bass. The neck is very fast, and playable with a satin finish on the back of the neck, and the hardware is of good quality. I highly recommend this bass for anyone. It's a one stop shopping type of bass, as it does it all...... really well!! Good job Schecter, and thanks for a wonderful buying experience Sweetwater. I've always been hesitant to buy instruments online, but with Sweetwater the experience was painless.
