Schecter Stiletto Extreme 4 LH
I am so happy with my bass! First off, the pictures are awesome, complete with my cereal number. I totally didn't expect that. Joe James was really helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He called as soon as I ordered the bass, emailed promptly when the manufacturer delayed, and called as soon as the bass arrived at my door. I open the box, and there is candy inside (way to set… read more the mood). My bass looks even better in person. The Schecter Stiletto Extreme 4 LH is about seven pounds lighter than my ray34 and has a thinner more playable fret board (awesome for my ladylike fingers and shoulders). This bass is really bouncy and playful- which helps me play with more pep. Though at times tinny, it can be EQ'ed to be a little smoother. The Schecter diamond pickups are decent, but I will most likely upgrade them in the near future to capitalize on the mahogany's sustain (they are a tad curt and inorganic) . This bass really pops, so if you are one of those unintelligible-no trebbel-mumbling-bass-players, it's probably not your style. I personally think it sounds better than any other bass besides music man basses and select fenders. Best if all its sexy as hell and super comfortable.

Neck feels great in your hands, plus the bonus of not having pure black as the only choice for a lefty. It arrived as scheduled, well packaged, and without flaws. The craftsmanship is spot on. Customer service is outstanding. I would like to… read more say more companies should follow Sweetwater's lead in this area. Robert, my service engineer, even called shortly after placing my order on-line. I was truly blow away by both the product and customer service that I received.
