If you are looking to add additional control to your existing LR Baggs chain for you acoustic guitar then this will help. I found the multiband compression most valuable. If you are looking to add a bite of grit to your sound then saturation is nice. It was good addition to the chain.

This LRB Session improves the sound nicely, on both steel string and nylon string guitars. It's like taking sandpaper to harsh edges, to smooth them out. The high pass filter is really nice too; can get great bass, while preventing it from breaking apart. You may need to ignore the gain directions; I've found that, to get a warm tone, I have the gain almost off, so that it barely… read more registers on the VU meter. The mute button is very helpful when switching between guitars. Also really nice how it defaults to mute after powering up. Note: If you watch the official LRB company's videos about this unit, it seems they are plugged into a full professional sound system in a studio; so, this unit alone won't necessarily create that amazing sound from the video. But this is still a really nice unit.

I purchased this DI to replace one that died on me. What a great purchase. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. This has so much versatility and the saturation nob is amazing. I highly recommend this DI. Also I highly recommend Tyler Moore as a sales rep. This guy is amazing going above and beyond.
