When I first saw this I was like Ingenius!! Why hasn't someone come up with this idea sooner. There would be alot less soundhole gouging. this is a very innovative pickup; unbelievably easy to install. It was a bit low, in the output; but not impossible to work with. Overall, well worth the money.

Expensive lesson …..

I am using a Fishman artist amp and it sounds great with my other acoustics but the built in pickup on this Alverez just wasn't cutting it, there was a loud boom on the low E string and feedback was a problem, just a thin sound. So I thought I would buy… read more this SG-1 and what a surprise! a nice even natural sound yes WOW! this is a great product my old beater sounds 100 times better.. Buy It! By the way Scott at Sweetwater rocks always there to help Thanks.
