Blackstar Silverline Deluxe 100w Head

Very versatile amp with some of the best tube emulation sounds I have heard on a solid state amp. Plenty of volume, nice simple effects, and not only sounds like your playing tubes but also feels and reacts like a tube amp. Very happy with this purchase. I sold my Fender HR deluxe (also a good product), and have no regrets. No tubes to worry about. I highly recommend checking out read more the Silverline series.

Best Sounding Modeling Amp

This Blackstar silverline modeling amp is by far the most amazing sounding non tune amp I have ever played in the 20+ years of playing. I have used everything from Mesa amps to tiny Peavy Rage amps and just coming off a Code 100 212. I will say I was skeptical at first to the point where I was not certain I was going to actually keep the amp due to the many of modeling amps that read more fall short of tone or capturing the tube sounds so amazingly. This amp allows you not only to have a plethora of presets stored on it but of those presets you have several preamp tube modeling to choose from. The tone is amazing with its bass to its highs. If you are into playing heavy music or light listening music this amp can get that tone you want without having the endless unnecessary effects. This amp comes with the basics that honestly any band actually uses when not in a studio. 4 selections of each reverb, delay, and modulation. This being my first Blackstar amp I will confidently say that it's will not be my last if I ever decide to try another amp. It's well worth the money and you will be very happy with its tones. Check out YouTube reviews for sounds from it, but warning the sounds from those videos are not even near how great this thing sounds in person. Highly recommend.

Feels and responds like a valve amp. Great tones, extremely versatile, lots of gain on tap, lightweight, and loud. You can also run it with stereo effects with the direct out and avoud a cab entirely live or for recording. What's not to love? And it's extremely affordable. I love this amp!

Absolutely love it

I am really happy with this amp, I purchased the 2x12 matching Cab (looks great) and I just can't say I've been this happy with an amp in a while. I have tried many other amps that are similar in design, and feel they fell short in tonal range, and exceeded their needs with digital features that sound thin. The highs are really clear while staying smooth at higher volumes and The read more lows sound (and feel) great. I love the simplicity of features and navigation. I get confused with big memory banks so this was nice and streamlined for me. I really wish this amp came with a shiny silver cable (silverline) :). Also the customer Care that sweetwater provides is outstanding, Thanks Noah! -Josh

Silverline Series Delivers Boss Katana-Style Tube Reproduction Except With The Blackstar "Sound" I Love

We use a Katana 100-watt head, plus the included effects software, to essentially nail whatever great recording tones we are looking for while in the studio, all in one box. I also have one for personal use and also switched from Marshall to Blackstar for my gigging tube heads, as the genuine tube mojo and ISF EQ control really suited the rock guitar sound I dig. Between the two, read more I can really put a Les Paul and a Strat through the paces. Big Fun! I have various tube amps/heads, one is a 1966 Fender 50-watt Bassman that is a fave. The Katana gets' very close to exact emulation, it still spooks me. Still, tube amps get expensive;the Blackstar and Katana now get the road gigs. A new thing, where the digital/analogue guitar amp just went one step further, is with the Blackstar Silverline-series. They use a similar switch approach to selecting "tube" arrays as my Katana head...awesome cleans-to-crunch w/overdrive for spectacular blues tones all the way to heavy, crushing distorted metal mayhem, all from one knob. The Blackstar has blown me away again, what a treat. Genuine Blackstar vibe,tube-tone for days! The emulation for recording just about beats a mic most any day, getting spoiled using that and the ISF. These amps cost a bit more than the Katana Mk II series, but I recommend getting one of each. I am totally frustrated trying to choose between the two, but in the meantime I am just about exhausted from all the fun and extra hours I have been playing, due to Blackstar's outrageously high-performance "emu-amp"-it keeps calling my name....sleep is wishful thinking. Highly recommended on every level.
