Just Beginning
I played a variety Wind Instruments from Elementary School all the way through High School. Graduated and Life got in the way. Decades later, I decided I needed Music back in my life, at the Personal level. After several attempts with other instruments, I chose Guitar, only to be sidelined by injuries. Finally decided to give the Electric Bass a go and I'm on my way. AJ helped me… read more to firm up my choice and decisions and currently I'm awaiting my new New Bass Amp, to go with my Stunningly Beautiful Sire Marcus Miller V3 4-string Mohagany Bass. When I took it to a local music store to purchase a case, befitting the quality of my new guitar, the salesman could barely keep from ( figuratively drooling over it ). He was excited that it was a Version 2 and complemented me on my choice. Only need a few more little items and it'll be complete. As soon as I can, I'll update this review, but so far, I've done some practice fingering, playing through my rather powerful Randall Guitar Amp. AJ, I promise I'm keeping the volume low, so I don't Blow any speakers or Internals. I LOVE This Bass Guitar and look forward to doing it justice. As soon as I no longer sound like the very basic beginner I am with a String Instrument, I'll update this review. To anyone looking for a solid, well built, and Simply Stunningly Beautiful Bass Guitar, I'd have to say .. What's Holding You Back!?? Take the Plunge ! Pull the Trigger ! and get yourself one !! you'll be glad you did because this Bass sounds every bit as good as it looks !!!!
Excellant Bass !
Have a good friend who lives in another state that gifted this bass to me. He and i both have played bass many years and he said these are so good im sending you one. Hes right! Ive owned many basses and starting out since the late 60s primarily played a Fender Precision. I had a Fender Jazz in the 80s i just didnt really bond with. Then later i had 2 more Fender Mexico and Sguire… read more jazzes that just didnt bond either. Maybe it was the little extra weight or tone or feel , i dont know? But when i got this Sire v3 it blew me away with active electronics , ez playing neck , ez on the shoulders , great looks, its got it all. I can use it active or not and sounds equally good in different ways to me and i can adjust it where the volume can be the same active or not. I also breifly owned an early Stu Ham Fender that was active and this bass is much better than that.
