Spector euro5 lx
I bought the mat finish black cherry. I love this bass. I have 5 other basses that don't get played much anymore. Life's too short.
Amazing 5 String
This Spector is my first five string, and what a joy to play. The Euro bass with the neck-through design has sustain for days, and heavy, extremely loud EMGs that command attention. And yeah, I can't say enough good about that "piano" quality to the tone. The B string doesn't lose any clarity -- the instrument is finely tuned to handle the lowest lows you can ask it to put out.… read more That's not to say it's only good for being loud and low -- this bass is incredibly versatile and sounds good on metal tracks as well as more melodic songs. It has this punchiness to slapping and popping I can't get enough of, too. Arrived set-up and ready to play, in the case I ordered for it (if there's one drawback here, it's that Spector ships guitars this nice with a gig-bag, only... get a case!) Overall, very happy I worked with my guy, Jon Mostacato, to not wait another minute and get my hands on the Euro 5. If you buy this guitar, you won't be disappointed!
