All I have to say is this: when I turn this on it sounds like Jimi Hendrix is flying in an airplane 20,000 ft above me and I can hear it in my dining room. tried it out, and and there was no decision to make.

Electo-Harmonix Electric Mistress

I recently purchased this pedal to replace my original 1978 Electric Mistress Deluxe. I was very please to find that I was able to replicate the tones I was getting with of my original pedal Since I didnt use the filter matrix feature on my original deluxe pedal, I chose to go with the standard model and and have been very pleased.

Perfect Flanger/Chorus Combo

Erik James

Like others, I was searching fora great flanger to achieve that early Police/Andy Summers sound. I considered the Deluxe Mistress, but it was unavailable so I purchased the Stereo Mistress, and I'm glad I took the chance. I have a BOSS flanger and chorus which both sound great, but this really achieves what I am looking for. It's simpler than the BOSS flanger, and it has a combined read more flanger/chorus effect which has a unique tone compared to that achieved using the individually great BOSS pedals in a two-pedal combo. I've only had the pedal for an hour, and I immediately love it. It took me a few minutes to get the filter matrix mode working, as the control is integrated into the rate knob as opposed to a separate switch on the Deluxe model. I had read that before purchasing, but it took me only a minute to understand it and get it working for me.

EHX Electric Mistress = Special Ingredient

I have been playing for over thirty years and haven't found that special ingredient until now. I did my research and bought the Mistress. Using it with my Echoplex and DOD Preamp 250 gives warm silkiness and motion to my classic rhythm and lead tones. I am in Love. I am exploring new territory. It makes me sound like I'm a better player. Highly recommended especially if you read more like David Gilmour an Alex Lifeson type tones. I NEVER do reviews - but - this is a wonderful unit.

This was the best solution for playing in stereo and getting some awesome effects at the same time! It was a little smaller than the dimensions it gave, but that was even better because it fit on my over crowded foot board. It was the same size as the B-9 box so now they match in size and put out a great sound in stereo! What a surprise, thank you Electo-Harmonics and Sweetwater! read more YOU made my day
