I purchased these strap buttons with the purpose of installing one on the heel of my Guild D-44 acoustic. These do not come with a felt washer so I fabricated my own and did in fact, install it on the heel of my acoustic. Looks great and holds my strap securely. I like the more open playability on my acoustic since installing this strap button on the heel. Good value.
