does exactly what it says, my one piece of advice would be to add a drop or two of loctite into the screw cavity before you install the new buttons to ensure there's no way they're coming out. been using these for close to ten years, never had a single problem with them!

I guess it was about 25 years ago that that p bass came off the strap and hit the floor on top of the atlas mike stand.Sounded like a mortar it did. I,ve been using dunlop straplocks ever since on all my guitars.Don't ever want to be that embarrassed again. Take it from me -it isn't worth it. and the dunlop hold up well.

I've used other brands of strap locks, but these remain my favorite. They are dependable and easy to use.Sweetwater customer service is great! I needed these to put on a new guitar before a Saturday night gig. I ordered them Thursday morning and they arrived the next day.
