What a great amplifier. I have a Fender Player Stratocaster HSS and wanted to play it through a Fender amp. If you want unbelievable clean tones, this amp is beautiful. It has the same power section as a Deluxe Reverb and I can't say enough about the tone. The Burn channel is very good too. It has the best overdrive I have ever heard out of a tube amp, even at fairly low settings. read more It has plenty of power too and is very loud. I have a Bugera Vintage 22 also, and that is a nice amp as well, but doesn't come close to the tone you get out of the Fender. The Fender is much more expensive, but IMO worth the money. I have also played my Les Paul through the Super Sonic and it too has great tone. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. And, it is a Fender, which means very high quality that lasts.

Close to Perfect Amp...

Nothing is perfect, but this amp is almost there. I've been looking for an amp that can do both, Fender cleans and Marshall/Mesa Distortion...this amp does it! I wasn't very surprised about the clean tone, I expected that and it delivered. But I am blown away by the amount of gain and distortion in the "burn" channel. This amp can cover every style of music, except maybe the read more hardest metal...and even that you can if you put a boost in front of the amp. I have been looking for a low wattage amp that I can use at gigs and on a whim, I traded my Dual Rectifier for this amp. I picked up the amp on a Saturday morning, and gigged with it on Saturday night... sounded amazing! If you are into ANY style of music, get this amp.. Fender has hit a homerun with this series.
