I recently purchased the Marshall Studio Vintage SV20 head and cabinet along with a 59 Les Paul Reissue from Sweetwater and my sales engineer Ian McGhee. I am extremely happy with these purchases. Put together these bring back memories of the good old days for me. Nothing beats the sound of a Les Paul cranked up through a Marshall. Thanks to Ian McGhee, I have reached the goal in read more my life of owning this setup. I have purchased many things from Ian and he has been so cool with my nit picking. Thanks Ian for the great advice and for becoming a friend over the years.

Do Wanna Get ROCKED?

This is the real deal. Prepared to be completely ROCKED. The matching SV2X12 Cabinet sounds excellent. My cab is broken in and sounds great. Hard hitting base, singing highs, you won't want to stop playing. I was going to replace the V-Type speakers but absolutely No reason to do so.

Just got mine today, I have owned more than enough of my share of amps. Mesas, Fenders, even a 800 and a Silver Jubilee, Never had a Plexi. This amp nails it! I LOVE this TONE! If your looking for authentic Marshall Plexi tone w/o paying too much SV20H is it! I was a bit worried cause not a bunch of samples w Strats but my old girl sounds incredible.

It's a Keeper

Yeah Marshall nailed it , this is my first tube amp that I've been able to get that power tube saturation , it's a loud amp , and I'm using a Weber Mass attenuator to tame this beast, even at 5 watts it can get loud, it sounds really good with a 1x12 closed back cabinet as well as my 1936 v 2x12 cabinet,it's simple stupid, but can really do alot if you take some time , and play with read more the controls , oh yeah ya gotta jump those channels together thats part of the magic
