SW95 Slash wah pedal
Have hot a chance to play with it alot yet but so far I'm very happy wiyh this pedal. Sounds and works great.
Great Wah, Okay Distortion Unit
Being a Slash fan, I just HAD to get his signature pedal for my arsenal! The Wah has a very warm sweep to it and of course screams the unmistakable tone of the master himself. However, I'm not too keen on the built-in distortion unit. I find the gain to be a little too harsh for my taste especially the higher you turn the knob up, but I can manage to dial in some slight sustain… read more if needed. To make it simple, I use the Wah by itself and leave the distortion off most of the time. Get an 18V adapter for this pedal so you're not going through 9V batteries all the time!!
It's Fun
Fun pedal. The distortion effects are picky, and only really works thru a tube amp. On my solid state amps, the effects sounded strange. On my Marshall amp, sounds good. The distortion seems like either on, or off, but not much between.
Fun pedal
I am really glad I added this pedal to my board. I just used it during a show for the first time on stage and it sounded great! I love having the ability to kick in some extra distortion when I need it too. The pedal feels great, looks great and sounds great. I recommend it.
