One of Takamines Pearls
This one of the finest sounding acoustic guitars on the market. The mids are strong unlike so many others. The clarity, balance and playability are as good as it gets but where this excels above the competition is in the tone. This is sweetest sounding acoustic I've played and owned. The build quality is top notch. It also looks gorgeous and far better than pics can show. I'm a… read more classical guitarist but in the past few years have expanded into electrics and acoustics. I can play classical pieces on the Takamine and all voices are clear and defined unlike other acoustics I've played. I bought this guitar after reading all 5/5 reviews and watching videos. I wasn't really expecting to be overly impressed so I had someone waiting who was itching to buy it from me if I decided to sell. After a few weeks of playing it I just can't let it go. I would have to value this at $5000 when comparing it to other top name makes. YES it's that good. I first thought Takamine had lost it's mind teaming cedar and koa in an acoustic but now I have to say it's pure genius and an ideal combination. I've used the cooltube once and it sounds incredible and is miles above all others in every aspect. This is an ideal fingerpicking guitar but is equally as good strumming. The included Tak case is arched top and built to last. I bought this Tak from a Canadian dealer who had 1 left in stock after selling 7 quickly. He and many others I've talked to recommended it over the Martins, Taylors and many other makes of the same body size. Don Henley and many others play this model so that speaks volumes as to it's professional quality. I can't recommend this guitar enough to those not wanting Dreadnoughts or Jumbos but still wanting great tone.
Takamine TF77-PT
I have owned many many high end guitars, most all are Taylor or Martin . This is my first purchase of a non American wood guitar. I can't put this guitar down!!!! I would rate this guitar up with 5000.00 dollar guitars all day. The fit and finish is great! None of my guitars have made me stop looking for my next one...lol I have found my last guitar!!! Peace
