On a hunch
Was looking for a uni-vibe style pedal but more modern, bought this on a hunch. I use it all the time. Sounds great.
Decent effects
Cant complain too much about this one. Does what it says it does but it's missing a little mojo. Definitely worth a demo. EQD makes some quality pedals.
Great vibe
I'd been playing a deja vibe but wanted something warmer. This is it. Level knob means you can use it as a boost if you want. Has both a more chorusy flavor and vibrato tones depending on what you're feeling. The swirls are lush and psychedelic. Good times, give it a try!
My favorite sounding Univibe pedal
This is not the "best" univibe pedal on the market to me, overall as a total package. I would give that to the JHS Unicorn V2, simply because it has a tap tempo for dialing in the rate while the EQD Depths does not. Now, if EQD were to release a V3 with a tap tempo for the rate, I would buy it in a heartbeat. However, this pedal to me has undeniably the best sound of any univibe… read more I have heard. It is fairly different in its approach to univibe - its more of what I would describe as an ambient univibe sound than a Jimi Hendrix univibe sound. Personally I like its sonic textures best, I just really wish it had a tap tempo knob. Being able to run the pedal at 18V for more dynamics and higher headroom is incredible too. Not many other pedals like that in this category.
Awesome pedal
Does not quite get the exact same "whoosh" that you would get from a Dejavibe or a Shin-Ei, but it does get close. More versatile than any other vibe I've personally ever tried. The hold/release function is a particularly nice touch. Works especially well stacked with fuzz, but also sounds great with clean tones. The construction, as always with EQD, is solid. Would definitely… read more buy another one if anything ever managed to happen to this one
